Referee Camps

Referee Camps are intended to provide educational and on-court experience for referees who are interested in building their foundational officiating skills. These camps are filled on a "first-come, first-served" basis. The registration fee is $195 for both PAVO members and non-members.

April 5-6 - Houston FAST Complex, Houston, TX. Registration closed. Camp is full.
PAVO returns to this collegiate showcase tournament because of the exciting competition, generous host, and accessibility. This camp is intended to provide educational and on-court experience for referees who are interested in building their collegiate officiating skills and receiving higher-level Division I experience in a low-stress environment. Division I teams from the AAC, Big XII, C-USA, SEC, Sunbelt, and WAC will be in attendance.Referees who register for this camp should feel comfortable working fast-paced collegiate volleyball.Campers will receive live, on-court training, as well as thorough post-match feedback from our expert trainers.

April 19-20 - Battle of Lake Erie, Sandusky, OH. Registration closed. Camp is full. 
This tournament runs concurrently with an elite juniors' tournament at the Cedar Point Sports Center in Sandusky, Ohio. Campers will receive live, on-court training, as well as thorough post-match feedback from our expert trainers.

Any camper who chooses to stay and officiate the tournament on Sunday, April 21, will be offered complimentary housing for the weekend and will be compensated $35-$40 per match for their work on Sunday. For those applying — please register for the event (5th Annual Battle of Lake Erie) on the Advanced Event Systems (AES) website. If you do not already have an AES account, then you will need to create one. When registering for the tournament on AES, please note that you will be participating in our PAVO camp and are only available to officiate the tournament on Sunday (indicate this in the "Event Conflicts" section).
